On 17 September 2026, Secretary of the TURKPA Commission on Environment, Natural Resources and Health Protection Aynura Abutalibova participated in the Parliamentary Working Session entitled “Engaging Parliamentarians in Sustainable Trade in Services,” held within the framework of the WTO Public Forum in Geneva.

The session was organized by the Parliamentary Conference on the World Trade Organization (PCWTO), jointly convened by the European Parliament and the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).

Moderated by Ms. Rossellie Cotino, Member of Parliament of Suriname, the session brought together parliamentarians and representatives from various countries.

The discussions focused on the importance of parliamentary engagement in shaping policies that contribute to sustainable economic growth, social inclusion, and the development of trade in services, while also addressing environmental challenges and the impacts of climate change.
