TURKPA Secretary General attends UN General Assembly

The Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA) Ambassador Ramil Hasan is on a visit to New York, United States of America, from 20 to 26 September 2026, to attend the high-level meeting of the United Nations General Assembly.

On the margins of the visit, Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasan attended the opening ceremony of the UN General Assembly, held a series of multilateral meetings, and met with Mr. Seyit Şahin, President of the Turkish American National Steering Committee (TASC) operating in the United States, and its delegation.

TURKPA Secretary General is accompanied on the visit by his Deputy Mr. Muhammet Alper Hayali.
