TURKPA Secretary General meets with the Chairperson of the Republican Turkish Party of the TRNC

On 17 April 2026, TURKPA Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasan met with the Chairperson of the Republican Turkish Party of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and Member of the Assembly of the Republic, Ms. Sıla Usar İncirli, within the framework of the 5th Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of mutual cooperation with the TRNC, particularly in the context of its activities as an active observer state within TURKPA, as well as the support provided by the organization in this regard.

On her behalf, Ms. Sıla Usar İncirli expressed her sincere gratitude to the TURKPA Secretary General and his delegation for their continued support for the activities of the Assembly of the TRNC. She also conveyed her satisfaction with participating in the 5th Antalya Diplomacy Forum. Furthermore, Ms. İncirli emphasized the important role of TURKPA in further strengthening and advancing relations with the parliaments of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan.

Ambassador Ramil Hasan, in turn, wished Ms. Sıla Usar İncirli success in her responsibilities as Chairperson of the Republican Turkish Party and Member of the Assembly of the TRNC. He also reaffirmed that cooperation between TURKPA and the TRNC will continue to develop in the field of inter-parliamentary diplomacy, as well as among members of the respective parliaments in the future.

During the meeting, the TURKPA Secretary General was accompanied by his Deputy Mr. Muhammet Alper Hayali, and the Secretary of the Commission Ms. Aynura Abutalibova.
