On 17 June 2026, within the framework of his official visit to the Republic of Türkiye, the Secretary General of TURKPA Ambassador Ramil Hasan met with Mr. Efkan Ala, First Deputy Chairman of the Justice and Development Party (AK Parti) and Member of the Parliament of Türkiye.
The Secretary General provided detailed information on TURKPA’s ongoing projects, measures undertaken to develop economic, political, cultural, and inter-parliamentary relations among the Turkic States, as well as the organization’s future plans.
In turn, Mr. Ala stated that they attach special importance to TURKPA’s activities. He noted that both the State of Türkiye, as well as the Turkish Government and Parliament, highly value TURKPA’s work, and emphasized that the steps taken in this regard constitute an important stage in the development of strategic relations among the fraternal Turkic States. He also underlined that he would provide all necessary support for TURKPA’s future activities.
The Deputy Secretary General Mr. Muhammet Alper Hayali accompanied the Secretary General during the meeting.
