Participants of Turkic Council Junior Diplomats programme visited Secretariat

Second Training Programme of the Turkic Council Junior Diplomats started on 2 March 2015 in ADA University in Baku. 25 young diplomats from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, as well as some members of the TURKPA Secretariat’s staff are participating in the two-week programme. In the programme’s framework, participants made visit to the TURKPA Secretariat and held meeting with Secretary General Jandos Asanov. Mr. Asanov briefed participants about TURKPA, its current activities and future projects. During his address to young diplomats, Secretary General put emphasis on the need to conceptualize activities of the Assembly on a long-term basis. Then participants asked questions on various aspects of the TURKPA’s tasks and objectives and held exchange of views on the prospects of Turkic cooperation.
