On 20 January 2015, the Republic of Azerbaijan commemorated 25th anniversary of the bloody January tragedy. The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliev visited the Alley of Martyrs and paid tribute to the victims of the bloody January tragedy. The government officials, parliamentarians and representatives of the diplomatic corps also visited the Alley of Martyrs.
TURKPA Secretary General Jandos Asanov also attended the commemorative ceremony and honored the memory of martyrs.
