Graduated from the Faculty of Literature at Hacettepe University. Completed M.A. and PhD in Old Turkish Literature at Gazi University’s Institute of Social Sciences.

At Gazi University, the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Turkish Language and Literature awarded the titles of assistant professor in 1995, associate professor in 2000 and professor in 2005. The following duties have been assumed: Director of Turkish Culture and Hacı Bektaş Veli Research Center at Gazi University, Member of Academic Evaluation and Quality Improvement Board at Gazi University, Deputy Head of Department, Member of Credit Dormitories Institution Board, Member of Publication Advisory Board of the Ministry of Culture, Head of Department of Turkish Language and Literature at Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University's Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Head of Main Science Department, Member of Education Commission and Member of Associate Professorship Keyword Determination Commission at Interuniversity Board, Member of Outstanding Achievement Awards Determination Jury of Council of Higher Education. From 2008 to 2017, fulfilled the role of founding rector at Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University. Numerous books, articles and papers have been published.

Elected as the first woman to the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye from Nevşehir. From 2021 to 2024, held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party.

Currently fulfills the role of Deputy Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party’s Parliamentary Group.

She is fluent in English, at an intermediate level in Persian, and very good in Ottoman Turkish.
