Eleventh Meeting of the TURKPA Commission on Education, Culture, Social and Humanitarian Affairs

On 14 May 2024, Eleventh Meeting of the TURKPA Commission on Education, Culture, Social and Humanitarian Affairs under the theme “Facilitating conditions for labor migration among the TURKPA member countries (approximation of national legislations)” hosted by the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye took place in Ankara.

The meeting was chaired by Ulan Bakasov, acting Chairman of the Commission, member of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic. Members of the Commission discussed the agenda items and exchanged views on the main theme of the meeting.

During the meeting, discussions focused on the experience in the field of migration process as well as facilitating conditions for labor migration among TURKPA member states.

One of the agenda items was dedicated to the draft Model Law “On the personnel training in accordance with the requirements of the labor market” that was prepared by Adil Valiyev, Head of the Social Legislation Department of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan

The Commission approved the Report and Recommendations on the main theme, as well as the draft Model Law on “On the personnel training in accordance with the requirements of the labor market” to be further submitted to the Thirteen Plenary Session of TURKPA to be held in 6 June 2024 in Baku.

It was decided to hold the next meeting of the Commission in 2025 in Azerbaijan.
