TURKPA Participates in AIDA15 Conference

On 10 September 2026, Acting Secretary of the TURKPA Commission on Education, Culture, Social and Humanitarian Affairs Mr. Mirlan Usenkanov participated in the AIDA15 Conference on “Advancing Global Solidarity through Humanitarian Assistance and Development Cooperation,” held in Baku, Azerbaijan.

The conference, organized to mark the 15th anniversary of the Azerbaijan International Development Agency (AIDA), brought together representatives of governments, the diplomatic corps, international organizations, development agencies and other stakeholders to discuss current challenges in humanitarian assistance and international development cooperation.

A Memorandum of Understanding between AIDA and TİKA was signed during the conference, while panel sessions discussed responding to crises and building resilience through partnerships for effective humanitarian assistance, as well as partnerships for sustainable development and the evolving role of development cooperation.

TURKPA’s participation contributed to the exchange of knowledge and experience and further dialogue on strengthening international partnerships and cooperation in the fields of humanitarian assistance and sustainable development.
